PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a terminal detachment preventive metal fitting which prevents the external damage of a wire and which improves a corona characteristic when the wire is operated at a high voltage, by a method wherein the cross-sectional shape of a coil-shaped wire material is formed as a rectangular shape and the inside and the outside of a coil are formed as wide. ;SOLUTION: A spiral rod 3 for soundproof configuration is wound on the outer circumference of a wire 2. Then, a coil-shaped wire material 4 as a metal fitting is wound on the outer circumference of the wire 2 so as to be twined around the terminal of the spiral rod 3 for soundproof configuration. Then, on the assumption that the cross-sectional shape of the coil-shaped wire material 4 is rectangular, the wire material is wound on the wire 2 (the spiral rod 3) on a wide face 6 at the inside in a coil shape, a wide face 7 at the outside in a coil shape is used as a surface, and the wire material is mounted so as to be completed.
