PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pressure loss when sludge cake passes through a curved pipe on the occasion of carriage by pipe for sludge cake and the like. ;SOLUTION: In a curved portion out of a pipeline carrying sludge cake and the like, a plurality of projection shaped spiral ribs 3 and 3 are provided for the inner circumferential wall surface of a curved pipe 1 starting from an inlet side (a) over to an outlet side (b). This provision allows sludge cake and the like passing through the curved pipe 1 to be guided by the projection shaped spiral ribs 3 and 3 in such a way as to be advanced while being rotated, internal stresses caused by compression and tension to which sludge cake and the like are subjected, are thereby reduced, so that pressure loss caused by sludge cake and the like passing through the curved pipe can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
