PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently convert the combustion of a substance to heat while reducing a load to environment providing a jet nozzle that ejects high-pressure air in a curtain shape to a position direction for covering a combustion site, and forms an electromagnetic wave barrier by strong combustion reaction. ;SOLUTION: A ground furnace 1 is set to a combustion site position, second and third stage furnaces 2 and 3 form heat exchange furnace walls 10 and 11. A high-pressure air nozzle 4 jets curtain-shaped high-pressure air to envelope the combustion site of the ground furnace 1. Combustion barrier (magnetic field formation) to a combustion reaction layer functions, so that the inside is set to high temperature, and a n initial combustion stage is nearly completed. Furthermore, to allow gas where combustion reaction is not completed to react, high-pressure steam generated by the third stage heat exchange furnace wall 11 is ejected from a high-pressure steam nozzle 6 in the same manner, thus completely burning a substance with high ignition temperature and long combustion process, achieving high-temperature combustion as countermeasures against dioxin, and the control of the amount of primary air can be supple mented to suppress the amount of generation of NOx.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
