PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently supply new map information to many and unspecified mobile stations (e.g. vehicles) and make proper map information available any time in the mobile station sides by a map information supplying system. ;SOLUTION: A transmission station 30 transmits map of a prescribed subject region to a plurality of unspecified mobile stations 100. In this case, the map information of the subject region is divided into a plurality of block maps and transmission is carried out for every block map. A map transmitting enterpriser 32 designs transmission schedule including the block maps to be transmitted and the order of the block maps. At that time, the transmission schedule is so designed as to keep the transmission frequency of the block maps which are lately rewritten higher than the transmission frequency of the block maps which are not rewritten for a long time.
