SAMPLING ADDRESS GENERATING SYSTEM AND SAMPLING ADDRESS GENERATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent discontinuous and abrupt fluctuations due to the variation of photographed pixel values with small errors. ;SOLUTION: The sampling address calculating part 60 included in an LCD panel inspecting device is provided with a center position estimating part 62, an estimated center position address memory 64, an additional line data creating part 66 and a centriod calculating part 68. The additional line data creating part 66 extracts an n×n pixel area including center parts of respective patterns and calculates additional line data for every pixels in the horizontal direction or every pixels in the vertical direction by adding pixel values in the vertical direction or in the horizontal direction. The centroid calculating part 68 calculates an X coordinate (X address) by extracting the element of the maximum value of the additional line data and two elements adjacent to the element of the maximum value and by calculating the position of a centroid by making the minimum value among these three elements the offset value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
