PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor power distribution monitoring system capable of exactly, efficiently calculating and monitoring the axial power distribution of core by using only fixed type reactor power distribution measurement detectors. SOLUTION: In the reactor core 3, a fixed type incore nuclear instrumentation fuel assembly 32 are arranged and a reactor nuclear instrumentation system 30 measuring the core power distribution in the core power region with actual data from the incore nuclear instrumentation fuel assembly 32 and a reactor power distribution calculation device 31 calculating the core power distribution with a three-dimensional nuclear thermohydraulic calculation code based on the data from a core current data measuring means 52 are provided. The reactor power distribution measurement detectors constitutes the incore nuclear instrumentation fuel assemblies 32 and contains fixed type neutron detector assemblies 37 and gamma thermometers 44 in nuclear instrumentation pipes 33.
