PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matte coating agent which can form a durable coating film and can give a white board which exhibits a high visibility of characters, a high erasability of characters, and a high resistance to staining due to an erasing utensil stained by ink. ;SOLUTION: This coating agent contains a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane and a monomer component contg. polyethylene-coated silica and an ultraviolet-curable monomer selected from among dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate, dipentaerythritol pentaacrylate, dipentaerythritol tetraacrylate, pentaerythritol tetraacrylate, pentaerythritol triacrylate and ditrimethylolpropane tetraacrylate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
