PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject spindle designed to reduce the force acting on a yarn, reduce the output to drive the spindle to a level as low as possible, and also raise the productivity of twisted yarns. SOLUTION: This yarn twist spindle which is equipped with a spindle 3 subject to rotary drive, a protective pot 6 supported upon the spindle 3 but under hindrance of its rotation, and a yarn channel fixed on the spindle 3, connected to hollow spindle shafts 6.3,6.4 and extending radially, comprises a rotary disk 7 supporting a mantle-shaped cylinder 9 mounted with a yarn guide element, an intermediate housing 11 enclosing the rotary disk 7 and the mantle-shaped cylinder 9, and a stationary outside housing housed with the intermediate housing 11.
