MOVING TARGET TRACKING METHOD AND RADAR VIDEO PROCESSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the attenuation of a radar video due to a high-speed moving target by detecting a moving target of a radar video treated with scan correlation processing, and eliminating a detection area of the moving target in the tracking scan forecast on the basis of a result of the detection from object of the tracking scan correlation processing. ;SOLUTION: An ARPA processing unit 42 corresponds a target data, which is inputted from a target detecting circuit 40, to the data up to the last scan so as to forecast a position of the tracking scanning time. A result is output as an ARPA following data to a display unit 38. In the case where a discrimination that the led-out speed exceeds the predetermined threshold value, a scan correlation eliminating area for scan correlation eliminating memory 46 is set per the target on the basis of the forecast position of the tracking scanning time. The set area is eliminated from the object of the scan correlation processing at the time of the tracking scan.
