PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a monitoring method in which a corrosion environment is measured more simply, in an on-line manner and continuously or periodically in a boiling heat-transfer interstice which becomes a special corrosion environment. SOLUTION: In a heat exchanger, a heat exchanger tube 42 which boils a liquid as a heat-transfer medium and a support plate 49 which comes into contact with the heat exchanger tube 42 are arranged in the liquid, and a boiling heat-transfer interstice 55 exists between the heat exchanger tube 42 and the support plate 49. In the heat exchanger, a corrosion-potential measuring electrode 50 is arranged in the boiling heat-transfer interstice 55, the degree of the concentration of impurities in the boiling heat-transfer gap part is estimated on the basis of a change in a measured potential, and a corrision environment is monitored at a site.
