PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a five way valve with a simple structure and in a small size, and a compact filtering device. SOLUTION: A five way valve 30 is fixed to a filter 20, and a disk rotary valve member 34 is movably housed around a rotary shaft Q in a housing part 30a formed by a valve casing 32 and a cover body 33. In a figure (a) condition of the rotary valve member 34, a first opening part 32b and a fourth opening part 33a are communicated with each other through a first passage 34c, and a third opening part 32d and a fifth opening part 33b are communicated with each other through a second passage 34. Liquid supplied from the first opening part 32b enters to a filter 30 from a filtering liquid inlet 21a and filtered, and is delivered from the third opening part 32d through a filtering liquid outlet 21b. When the rotary valve member 34 is turned by 180 degrees, the first opening part 32b and the fifth opening part 33b are communicated with each other through the first passage 34c, and the second opening part 32c and the fourth opening part 33a are communicated with each other through the second passage 34d. Liquid is filled from the first opening part 32b, and the inside of the filter 20 is back washed.
