REMOTE CONTROLLER WITH LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller with a liquid crystal display for an air conditioner in which the visibility of a liquid crystal display section(LCD) can be secured even at night without using electric energy by providing a luminous material sheet on the rear surface of the LCD. SOLUTION: The visibility of the LCD 7 of a remote controller with liquid crystal display for air conditioner is improved by using part of the external light made incident to the LCD 7 as reflected light in day time by tightly sticking a luminous material sheet (luminous film) 8 to the rear surface of the LCD 7 in one body and providing a half-mirror sheet (film) 9 between the sheet 8 and LCD 7. At a dark place at night, on the other hand, the liquid crystal display made on the LCD 7 is made to be clearly visible without using any electric energy by using the light emitted from the light energy stored in a luminous material sheet (luminous film) 8 which stores the daytime light and the light of electric lamps through the half-mirror sheet (film) 9 as the back-light of the LCD 7.
