CREDIT CARD READER FOR TRADE TRANSACTION OF INTERNET BASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a credit card and the like necessary for executing transaction by inserting the card into a holder whose size and form are almost similar to a regular storage member and reading the information which is readable by a machine. SOLUTION: A data processing system uses a floppy drive 40 for reading a credit card 114 as a part of network transaction. A credit card holder 110 is provided in a 3.5'' diskette form which is interchangeable with the floppy drive 40. The holder 110 has a slot 112 along the edge and the card 114 is inserted into a diskette proxy by the slot 112. When the card 114 is inserted into the holder 110 and the holder 110 is inserted into the drive 40, the magnetic stripe of the card 14 is positioned to a read head in the diskette drive by a wall or a guide formed and positioned inside of the holder 110.
