PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a backup system for trouble of some equipment constituting the emergency information system for an aged-person's house to support its operation in response to an emergency report from the resident and to makes an easy and inexpensive connection with equipment such as a pocket beeper. ;SOLUTION: A room terminal device 4, a television 1, an interphone microphone 2, a call button 5, a lavatory call button 6, etc., a fire sensor 8, etc., which are installed in each room are connected. In a concierge's room, etc., on the other hand, an emergency report managing device 11, a backup display device 12, and a data transmission device are connected. Consequently, if troubles occurs to some equipment of a master machine, system management free of delay can be performed, so the burden on the concierge or an attendant, etc. is lightened and an unexpected state of the resident can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
