ELECTRONIC THERMOSTAT CONTROLLER AND ITS USE IN MULTIPOINT TYPE TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER FOR COOLING AND HEATING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical electronic digital thermostat safe in operational performance, high in reliability and capable of achieving the performance as in the conventional expensive electronic controller at low cost. ;SOLUTION: This controller is provided with a p-n junction temperature detecting element 1 and its drive constant current source 2, the output of the element 1 is converted into a digital signal by an A-D converter 3 and supplied to a circuit 4 which corrects the sensitivity and offset value of a sensor by using calibration data stored in nonvolatile memory 19, and the output which is corrected by it is supplied to digital compactors 5 and 6 and is compared with reference value from the memory 19 or a variable control means 12. Outputs of the comparators 5 and 6 have spurious eliminated by digital noise filters 7 and 8 and are stored in a control latch 9, and temperature correction is performed by controlling output drive and a protection network 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
