CASTABLE REFRACTORY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a castable refractory with excellent fluidity, dryability and worked form texture uniformity. ;SOLUTION: This castable refractory is constituted of a castable refractory material containing refractory coarse particles with gas-included spherical hollow-particles 5-200 μm in average particle size with the shell component consisting of thermoplastic resin. Incorporation of the above hollow particles prevents the refractory coarse particles from specific gravity segregation, furthermore, having effect in improving both the fluidity and dryability of this castable refractory material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
