COOPERATIVE PROTOCOL MANAGEMENT IN DISTRIBUTED COOPERATIVE SYSTEM AND COOPERATIVE PROCESSING EXECUTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely manage a cooperative protocol and to execute it by providing a server agent with an authenticating mechanism. ;SOLUTION: First, a client agent 104 reports a cooperative processing name to be started, a cooperative process and a role to a server agent 112 at the time of starting an order job. The bulletin board managing module 114 of the agent 112 which receives these information stores them in a bulletin board 115. The module 114 checks a client agent management file 116, gets the authentication of the agent 112 and searches for a client agent that acquires this cooperative protocol. As a result, a client agent 105 is selected and the possibility of executing the role that utilizes the order job cooperative protocol is inquired. When the agent 105 can execute, the agent 112 teaches respective addresses and roles to the agents 104 and 105 and notifies that cooperative processing is available.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
