ESTIMATING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CHAOS TIME SERIES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute chaos estimation without lowering the estimation accuracy even when the time series data of its quantity necessary for executing the chaos estimation are not available. SOLUTION: This estimating device stores collected time series data in a database storage means 2 and the quantity of data stored in the means 2 is decided by a database quantity decision means 3. A parameter adjusting means 4 adjusts a parameter for executing chaos estimation and an estimation means 5 executes the chaos estimation based on the adjusted parameter. Then, the parameter is adjusted again based on result executing the chaos estimation and the chaos estimation is executed again based on the parameter that is adjusted again.
