PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform work automatically continuously in a short time, in a work method and work device of an array unit having a rotational symmetrical shape work part in a metal mold and metal mold master of non-spherical lens, macro lens array, etc. ;SOLUTION: In this device, a workpiece 12 arranging a rotational symmetrical shape work part with a prescribed pitch is mounted in a turning spindle 7 of a work device, and cutting work is performed by a fixed tool from the forward of the workpiece 12. Here, in a central part of an end face in the spindle 7 of the work device, a slide table movable in a prescribed direction is provided, therein by mounting the workpiece 12 worked, even when a work part of the workpiece 12 is dispersed in various positions, accurate work can be performed in a short time to be automatically continued.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
