PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic name plate for a pet and a livestock, readily carried by a small animal or the like, readily attached thereto by using a recording medium capable of allowing the properties of the animal to be readily confirmed, and further to provide a system for managing the pet and the livestock by using the electronic name plate. SOLUTION: This electronic name plate 1 for a pet and a livestock is the one attached to a collar 10 for the pet and the livestock and having an information-recording means and has a recording medium incorporated therein. The recording medium can be subjected to a recording medium-reading machine to readout the recorded information.
