PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform communication through a physical link without generating excessive traffic and without congesting a system. ;SOLUTION: By logically combining plural physical links to a single logical channel trunk and balancing data flow carried by the respective links, the data flow between the physical links is controlled. The respective links within the trunk are provided with the characteristics of the same physical layer 30 and of the same medium access control layer 50B. In addition to the physical layer 30 and a network layer 60, a system server is provided with a pseudo driver software layer 150 arranged between them. The pseudo driver software layer functions as a multiplexer in a reception line and functions as a demultiplexer in a transmission line.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
