PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a danger of the twisting collapse of a house by an earthquake by converting a wall quantity on the respective axes into a numeric value, and substituting a bearing wall of a wooden shaft diagonal brace on the axis lacking in a wall quantity with a high bearing wall of a steel diagonal brace in a new building design stage. ;SOLUTION: In a design stage, numeric values by dividing a wall quantity on the axis having a bearing wall by a length of the axis, are calculated with the respective axes, and are compared with each other, and the bearing wall on the axis lacking in a wall quantity is changed to a high bearing wall. The high bearing wall is constituted so that a frame 4 by integally welding a main frame, an intermediate belt frame 16 and a diagonal brace frame 17 by equal-angle steel is fixed on a sill 3 by an anchor bolt 1 buried in cloth type foundation concrete 2, and wooden columns 5 and 6 are erected in both side parts, and are connected to the frame 4 of the second floor by a through bolt 10 penetrating through a wooden beam 9. Wall magnifying power of the high bearing wall is 5.0 to wall magnifying power 2.0 of the bearing wall of a conventional wooden shaft diagonal brace.
