DRAWING METHOD FOR DRAWING DATA STRUCTURING VIRTUAL LAYER BY COLOR PALETTE OPERATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the drawing method which can constitute layers extremely easily without rewriting all pixel values for drawing by setting priority to virtual layers and foregrounding drawing pixels written to the virtual layer of the highest priority. SOLUTION: Virtual eight planes 1 consisting of a virtual layer 1 consisting of two planes, a virtual layer 2 consisting of five planes, and a virtual layer 3 consisting of one plane are set to respective pixels constituting a pix map 2. The respective virtual layers 1 to 3 are given priority levels and the drawing elements written to the virtual layer of the top priority are foregrounded and displayed. Drawing data inputted to the pix map 2 are converted into a color palette address signal having pixel values consisting of 8 bits and the signal is inputted to a color palette 3 and displayed as R, G, and B signals corresponding to respective color numbers on a display device 4.
