PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a small-diameter fiber cable and to reduce an optical loss due to bending even when a numerical aperture is low by respectively constituting core, hold layer, cold layer and functional layer constituting an optical fiber with specified resin. ;SOLUTION: Transparent polymethyl methacrylate based resin is used as core resin constituting the core 1 and the hold layer 3. The diameter of the core 1 is 50-400 μm. The clad layer 2 of thickness 5-100 μm consisting of transparent vinylidene fluoride system sheath resin with a refractive index lower than the core resin is arranged on the periphery of the core 1. The hold layer 3 arranged on the outside of the clad layer 2 is composed of the same resin as the material of the core 1, and its thickness is 120-400 μm. The functional layer 4 is formed by the vinylidene fluoride system resin. Respective layers 1-4 are integrally welded by composite spinning to be manufactured. An eccentricity being a value dividing a distance between the center of the core 1 and the center of the element wire 5 with the diameter of the core 1 is 0.03 or below.
