PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the safety by lapping a disk part of a braking drum on a flange part of a bearing body sleeve inserted in a wooden wheel, and integratedly connecting them through a long bolt to prevent the wooden wheel from being cracked by the braking force. ;SOLUTION: An inner bearing body 24 is provided with a flange 24b on one end of a metallic sleeve 24a which is inserted into a wooden wheel 3 and passed through an axle 2. The sleeve 24a is provided with a tapered outer circumferential surface 24b, and tightly fitted to a tapered shaft hole 25. In a brake drum body 5, a disk part 6 is lapped on a side of the wheel 3, and a boss part 6b around an axle hole 6a is fitted to a recessed part 24c of the flange 24b. The disk part 6, the flange 24b and the wheel 3 are integratedly connected to each other by a long bolt 29 piercing in the axial direction. Thus, the shearing stress generated between the drum body 5 and the wheel 3 when the strong braking force is applied to the drum body 5 by a brake band is carried by the integrated bearing body 24, and internal cracks are not generated in the wooden wheel 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
