PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a segmented trace mutual connecting arrangement for head suspension of a disk drive by allowing suspension trace segments to have effective cross-sectional widths to which coutours are added so as to maximize high frequency current densities ranging over cross sections of the arrangement. ;SOLUTION: Trace segments 60R, 60S and 60T of conductors are arranged upward trace segments 62R, 62S and 62T and by being aligned in the lateral direction with them on a dielectric layer 29. The trace segments 60S, 62S have preliminarily determined roughly square cross-sectional areas which are larger than the preliminarily determined cross-sectional areas of trace segments 60R, 60T and 62R, 62T of both sides. A loadbeam assembly is constituted by electrically connecting read/write heads to related read/write circuits while using this conductor trace arrangement. Thus, losses due to epidermal effects are reduced by optimizing current densities while concenrating them in a high signal speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
