PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically compress the quantity of deformed map data so as to use a deformed map, if shown to guide a destination, with low bit rate communication. ;SOLUTION: In accordance with a deformed map drawn by a deformed map preparation processing part 110, an area division processing part 121 determines an area size for data compression from passage information of the deformed map to convert deformed map data and a passage pattern graphic- forming processing part 122 divides the deformed map data to select passage information in areas out of patterned graphics. A landmark pattern graphic- forming processing part 123 selects land mark information in areas out of patterned graphics.
