MATTRESS SHAPED GARBION FOR BETTER LANDSCAPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain harmony with the ambient environment in external appearance by fitting decorative laminated sheets to the surface of a mattress shaped gabion. ;SOLUTION: Decorative laminated sheets 4 are fitted to the exposed face 1a of a mattress shaped gabion 1. Through holes 4a are bored at the center sections of the decorative laminated sheets 4, and through rods 5 are inserted to form a connected body of the prescribed size. The front exposed face 1a of the mattress shaped gabion 1 and the through rods 5 are connected by connecting rings 6 to connect the decorative laminated sheets 4 to the front face of the mattress shaped gabion 1. The color tone and pattern of the decorative laminated sheets 4 are taken into consideration for the harmony with the location where the mattress shaped gabion l is installed and its ambient landscape. The decorative laminated sheets 4 are manufactured at a factory in advance and are carried-in to a site. Individual decorative laminated sheets 4 are aligned in the longitudinal direction, for example, and through bars 5 are inserted in the lateral direction. The decorative laminated sheets 4 are installed at proper intervals not to prevent the discharge of underground water and rainwater when they are fitted. Since the decorative laminated sheets 4 are fitted to the surface of the installed mattress shaped gabion 1, the structure can be harmonized with the ambient landscape.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
