STORE AND FORWARD COMMUNICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM USING DESTINATION NOTICE IN ELECTRONIC MAIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the store and forward communication method and system where a destination is designated in multi-address distribution with excellent provision without limit of capacity and the destination is flexibly changed on every transmission request. SOLUTION: In the case of requesting multi-address distribution from a sender communication terminal by facsimile, a transmission file including a destination list in addition to transmission data are sent by a procedure of an electronic mail. A receive section 1 of a store and forward communication equipment receives the transmission file a destination list extract section 3 extracts the destination list which is stored and managed in a destination list management section 4. An image conversion section 5 converts the remaining information of the transmission file after the destination list extract section 3 extracted the concerned information into image information, which is stored in a data storage section 6. A transmission section 7 sends the stored image information to destinations in the destination list stored in the destination list management section 4. A communication management section 2 that manages the reception and transmission state sends a reception notice message or a transmission result notice message to a sender terminal, passed on designation.
