JOINT METAL FOR STEEL FRAME COLUMN BASE OR STEEL PIPE COLUMN BASE, AND ITS FIXING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the fixing of a steel frame column base of a steel pipe column base to a concrete footing and integrate it with the footing by using a joint metal having a communicating hole formed in its main body part and an anchor bolt insertion hole in its side part. ;SOLUTION: A main body part 5 and a cylinder body part 6 are integrally formed by using high-strength SM50A cast steel for a joint metal 4. The bottom end of a steel frame column 1a constituted of an H-section is fixed to a frame body part 8 of the main body part by welding, an anchor bolt composed of a screw reinforcement projecting from the concrete footing is inserted into a hole 9 of the cylinder body part 8 from the bottom so as to be fixed by top/bottom lock nuts, and mortar, etc., is filled with the hole 9 from a small hole 38. The horizontal installation position is adjusted by the hole 9 formed into a large diameter, the vertical installation position is adjusted by the lock nuts, reinforcements are arranged in a hole part 7 formed in the main body part 5, and concrete is placed thereto so as to be integrated with the footing.
