PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary angle automatic teaching method for a mounting head in an electronic component mounting device that is conducted independently of a manual operation of the operator. ;SOLUTION: A reference nozzle 2a at a machine origin C is turned according to an index to enter a camera check area A. Then, the reference nozzle 2a is aligned to an optical axis B of the camera to obtain a displacement angle θof the reference nozzle 2a based on the turning amount. After restoring the reference nozzle 2a to the machine origin C, the reference nozzle 2a is aligned to an optical axis B again to obtain a deviation angle Δθ, and then the reference nozzle 2a is restored to the machine origin C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
