PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new polynucleotide having a sequence highly indentical with the sequence encoding human 7-transmembrane receptor polypeptide having a specific amino acid sequence, and useful for treatment, diagnosis, etc., of related symptoms to imbalance of the above receptor. SOLUTION: This polynucleotide is a new isolated polynucleotide having a nucleotide sequence at least 80% identical, over the whole length, with the nucleotide sequence encoding human 7-transmembrane receptor polypeptide having the amino acid sequence of the formula or including a complementary nucleotide sequence to the above nucleotide sequence, and useful for production of G protein-binding receptor (HDPBI 30), treatment and diagnosis, etc., of related symptomes to imbalance of HDPBI 30. This polypeptide is obtained from, using the standard cloning and screening, the cDNA library derived from mRNA in human leukocytes, lung and early stage dendrite cells by expression sequence tag(EST) analysis.
