PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate lending of a rent-a-car and/or unmanned operation of returning operation by grasping a condition of a vehicle like a damage due to impact against the vehicle and a remaining amount of fuel, etc. ;SOLUTION: When a predetermined lending procedure is executed, the vehicle 5 for rent is unlocked by radio, the condition of the vehicle 5 before lending, for example, the remaining amount of the fuel and history of collision are simultaneously acquired and stored in a condition information storage part 14, when the vehicle is returned, the remaining amount and the history of collision when the vehicle is returned are similarly stored in the condition information storage part 14 by radio, judgment of whether the fuel is refilled when the vehicle is returned and whether the collision detected by an acceleration sensor occurs or not during rent is performed by comparison of the remaining amount of the fuel and the history of collision before and after lending by radio and when the fuel is not refilled or the collision occurs, a proper measure such as to settle the rent by adding additional charge to basic rent is taken.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
