PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for thermally spraying a brazing filter metal capable of obtaining an aluminum alloy tube excellent in brazing properties or the like. ;SOLUTION: Aluminum alloy brazing filler metal powder contg., by weight, 15 to 50% Si and consisting essentially of grains with 10 to 70 μm diameter is thermally sprayed in a molten state by a high speed flame spraying method. Aluminum alloy brazing filler metal powder contg. 15 to 50% Si and ≤60% Zn so as to regulate the total content to ≤90% and essentially consisting of grains of 10 to 70 μm diameter is thermally sprayed in a molten state by a high speed flame spraying method. The brazing filler metal can satisfactorily be applied on an Al alloy tube by thermal spraying, and a heat exchanger obtained by using this tube 1 is excellent in adhesion between the tube 1 and a fin 2, in which local nonadhered parts are furthermore hard to occur as well and thus excellent in corrosion resistance as well.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
