PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed type reinforced bag, in which household effects such as bedclothes, clothing can be prevented from getting wet or protected from damage such as collapse due to a landslide, when a floor is submerged in the case of a flood, and a method for protecting household effects from a disaster by using the bag. ;SOLUTION: Household effects required in a daily life, clinical charts of hospital, medicines, medical supplies, cultural assets such as pictures, articles 2 such as important information or soft stored in a business apparatus such as personal computer are stored in a special bag 1 and a sealing means such as a zipper of an opening 6 is completely sealed and the bag 1 is left at the site as it is to eliminate the troubles or time of having to carry out the household effects or to move them to an elevated spot, so that people can escape to a shelter.
