PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a fried peanut snack seasoned with sugar and Miso (fermented soybean paste) having taste and flavor unique to the producing district and free from the defect of conventional dried peanut snack lacking in the development of the taste and flavor unique to the district. ;SOLUTION: Dried peanut holding astringent coat is fried to the core of the nut with a vegetable oil over a strong fire for 10-30 min to obtain an oil- fried peanut material. Separately, 1 pt. of Miso is mixed with 1-3 pts. of sugar and the mixture is heated until the mixture becomes glutinous.
