REMOVING DEVICE FOR DIOXIN CONTAINED IN ASH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing dioxin contained in ashes which is used in such a system that incineration ashes of a municipal waste incinerator is reburned and substance completely made to ashes is recycled. ;SOLUTION: The removing device for dioxin contained in ashes is equipped with a heating vessel 2 for heating material to be heated in the atmosphere free from oxygen, a feeder 3 of the material to be heated in which a metallic reactant is mixed with ashes free from combustibles and the mixture is supplied to the heating vessel 2 and a cooling vessel 5 for cooling the material to be heated, which has been discharged from the heating vessel 2, at prescribed temperature in the atmosphere free from oxygen. A screw conveyor 4 consists of both a hollow shaft 17 and blades 18 wound thereon and carries the material to be heated while stirring it and is arranged in the inside of the heating vessel 2. Heated gas is passed through a jacket 6 provided in the outer periphery of the heating vessel 2 and through the inside of the hollow shaft 17 of the screw conveyor 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
