PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen the work limit depth of a fine groove, and to enlarge a corresponding range of the cutting work, by straightly reciprocating a cutting blade shaped into a thin plate, for cutting the fine deep groove. ;SOLUTION: A cutting tool 2 comprises a shank part having a cylindrical external shape, and a blade part 6 which is shaped into a thin plate by a cutting work, integrally with the shank part. The cutting tool 2 is straightly moved in a direction of arrow A in a condition it is fixed without rotated, to cut a groove 204 onto a work W. Concretely, the reciprocating motion that the cutting tool 2 is moved from an upper part toward a lower part of the work W to finely cut the work W, and is moved at a high speed in the direction of arrow A, and further the cutting tool 2 is moved on the other side to cut the work by the same amount, and is returned at a high speed, is repeated to cut the groove.
