PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power cable for bulk power transmission capable of transmitting bulk power by improving it so as not to suppress the thermal expansion in the radial direction of the cable. ;SOLUTION: Three individual power cables made of a power cable 11 whose outermost layer is covered by a semiconductive layer 17 without forming a metal layer on the periphery of an insulating material 16 are arranged in a triangular shape; at the center of the three individual power cables 11, 12, 13, an emergency current returning conductor 20 is placed; the emergency current returning conductor 20 and the semiconductive layers 17 of the cables 11, 12, 13 are electrically connected.
