PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and lightweight belt conveyor device and improve space efficiency by forming the moving space of a suspended belt separated from the outside between the lower face of a footpath cover member and the upper face of a conveying trough member, and forming a footpath on its upper face. ;SOLUTION: A flat plate-like footpath cover plate 30 serving as a footpath cover member is fixed in the suspended state between the upper faces of the right and left side plates 20A of a trough frame 20. A footpath is formed on the upper face of a conveyor 10, a conveying space 14 separated from the outside is formed on the upper side of a conveying trough 21, and the carrier belt (suspended belt) 15 of a conveyance path loaded with a conveyance object is moved in the conveying space 14.
