PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high CO concn. endothermal type modified gas generating apparatus which stably supplys the high concn. endothermal type modified gas having higher concn. than the conventional gas and improves the carburizing efficiency and the carburizing speed. ;SOLUTION: A desirable high CO concn. endothermal type modified gas is obtd. by introducing a high oxygen concn. gas generated from a nitrogen gas generator into a buffer tank 2 through an introducing pipe 4, mixing the oxygen gas with the air separately introduced in the buffer tank 2, generating a fixed high concn. oxygen gas with an air quantity adjusting mechanism part 6 and introducing this oxygen gas together with hydrocarbon gas into an endothermal type gas generator 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
