RC COLUMN-STEEL FRAME BEAM JOINT CONSTRUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide RC column-steel frame beam joint construction capable of surely and firmly connecting specially an RC column to steel frame beams. ;SOLUTION: A joint steel plate 2 is buried in a beam joint section of an RC column, column main bars 6 of the RC column pass through the said joint steel plate 2, a plurality of anchorage bars 8 are projected along the column main bars 6, and an opening is provided. The end of a steel frame beam 3 is connected to the end of the joint steel plate 2. In that case, specially a diameter of the joint steelplate is the approximately same as that of the RC column 1, it is constituted of a substrate section having the opening in the central part and a plurality of through-holes passing through the column main bars 6 around the opening and a plurality of joint sections horizontally projected from the edge ends of the said substrate section, and the end of the steel frame beam 3 is connected to each of the joint sections with a matching plate 4 and a high strength bolt 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
