PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase tooling efficiency when tooling a conductive grinding wheel used for electrolytic in-process dressing grinding. ;SOLUTION: When a tooling grinding wheel 1 is tooled by a tooling grinding wheel 7, tooling liquid having pH of not more than 9.5 and conductivity of not less than 3000 μs/cm is injected from nozzles 5, 6 to produce a stronger electrolytic action than a conventional grinding. The tooling liquid is used separately from the grinding liquid to prevent the mixture of two kinds of liquids. First, tooling is performed by using the tooting liquid and then is replaced by ordinary grinding liquid to perform electrolytic in-process dressing grinding.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
