PURPOSE:To certainly discharge the rain water which enters by attaching the siding joiner, which is provided with drain holes spacedly which has a grade for rain water and is provided at specified intervals in the upper connection face section of the siding joiner, to the furring strips of the lower end of siding material. CONSTITUTION:In a long drawn aluminum siding joiner 30 whose cross section is nearly convex, the connection face sections 32 and 33, which are provided to the edges of both sides of the mounting face section 31 on the back side of the siding joiner 30, are provided with grades for rain water whose head sides are lowered, and the upper side connection face section 32 is spacedly provided with drain holes 39 at specified intervals. After applying water proofing to the backing material 22 of a wall face 20, a siding material 21 is laminated to the water proofed backing material, and the siding joiner 30 is attached to the furring strips 25 of the wall face 20 of the lower end of the siding material. When it rains, the rain water flowed down to the lower end of the siding material 21 goes into the gap between cover face sections 34 and received by the connection face section 32 and discharged from the drain holes 39 after collected to the head side owing to the grade for rain water. Thus, this constitution makes it possible to facilitate the lamination and repairing of the siding joiner and also to certainly discharge the rain water entering the gap.
