PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make cogging torque minimum by designing in such a manner that the central angle of a circular arc forming a circular arc surface of a magnetic pole portion and various quantities determining the dimensions of a stator, magnetic pole portion, permanent magnet or the like will fulfill a particular relational expression. ;SOLUTION: A dimension of a magnetic polar portion 206 of a rotor 200, that is, open angle L2 of the magnetic pole portion is calculated by an expression (n+c).Pp+a.(g/R)+b.(gp/R). Where, n is an arbitrary natural number, a is a real number fulfilling -0.6≤a≤0.6; b is a real number fulfilling 0.35≤b≤0.5 and c is a real number fulfilling -0.06≤c≤-0.04. Also, Pp is an equal angle pitch in circumferential direction, gp is a length of tee's gap portion 104a, R is a radius of an inner peripheral surface of a stator 100, g is a gap between a rotor 200 and the stator 100.
