PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water flow detector which is excellent in aging and durability and a health tumultus notification device which does not provide a liver with any awareness of being monitored, provides extremely less burden on a monitoring side, and is simple and inexpensive. ;SOLUTION: A water flow detector 1 is provided with read switches 8 (8a and 8b) in a compartment 3 in which fluid-tightness against water in piping is maintained. Also a health tumultus notification device 20 is provided with the water flow detector 1 which detects the presence or absence of water passing through a water feed piping and a control device 22 which starts a telephone 21 and notifys it to an addressee registered beforehand when it recognizes the unuse of water in a time exceeding a set time based on an electric signal from the water flow detector 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
