METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTING SCREEN OF CRT COLOR MONITOR, AND CRT COLOR MONITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic CRT color monitor screen adjusting method, and a CRT color monitor capable of sufficiently obtaining the adjusting accuracy of horizontal position and horizontal size even in horizontal frequency around 100 kHz and not requiring much cost. ;SOLUTION: While changing the phase of a position judging pulse to a horizontal synchronizing signal HD, whether the pulse is superposed on a synthetic signal or not, is judged by a comparing circuit 6, an one-shot circuit 7 and a microcomputer 9, the position of a video signal part to the signal HD is detected based on the judged result and horizontal and vertical positions on a screen are automatically controlled based on the detected result. Consequently the control accuracy of horizontal positions and horizontal size can be sufficiently obtained even in horizontal frequency around 100 kHz, and since an inexpensive microcomputer can be used, the cost of the method can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
