PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nationwide common telephone number taxi calling system capable of informing a taxi company of the rough position of an ordering person by automatically performing transfer to the taxi company of an area where the ordering person is present by a relay antenna or a base station which receives a nationwide common telephone number dedicated to a car allocation order from a portable telephone. ;SOLUTION: The nationwide common telephone number dedicated to a taxi allocation order is set and the relay antenna or the base station which receives the car allocation order called at the nationwide common telephone number from the portable telephone automatically transfers it to the car allocation center of the nearby taxi company of the area where the ordering person is present. At the time, the rough position of the ordering person is specified from the place of a portable telephone relay antenna used by the ordering person and is informed to the car allocation center. Thus, this nationwide common telephone number taxi calling system capable of making the operator of the car allocation center able to directly communicate with the ordering person, specify the detailed position of the ordering person, allocate a taxi driving around and charge a taxi charge to the portable telephone number of the ordering person is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
