PURPOSE:To improve the durability of the water- and oil-repellency of cloth, etc., without making the hand rough and hard and also without decreasing the tearing strength when the cloth, etc., is treated with the water- and oil- repellant. CONSTITUTION:A water- and oil-repellant comprising a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing an acrylate or methacrylate containing a perfluoroalkyl group, a non-fluorinated vinyl monomer such as vinyl chloride, and vinyl glycidyl ether or allyl glycidyl ether.
