PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the account processing of a user easily and speedily at low costs by transmitting transmission requested transaction data from a bank, transmitting generated journal data from the user to an accounting office and performing the account processing of the user at the accounting office based on the received journal data. ;SOLUTION: A bank 1, user 30 and accounting office 50 are connected by a communication line L. Corresponding to the transmission request of the transaction data from the user 30, the bank 1 transmits the transaction data recorded in the prescribed bank account of the user 30 to the user 30. The user 30 generates the journal data through a journal data generating means concerning his own received transaction data and transmits these generated journal data to the accounting office 50. At the accounting office 50, prescribed account processing is performed based on the journal data received from the user 30. Then, the knowledge of descriptions to be filled in a journal by the user at a shop or the like is unnecessitated and at the accounting office, labor for account processing to be performed by visiting the user's house or the like can be saved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
